Music Mixing and Me
As a mix engineer I have been professionally producing and mixing commercial production music, my own music and working with a range of bands over the last 5 years. My mixes have been heard on TV and radio around the world including on BBC1, BBC2, CBBC and on BBC Introducing as well as a range of international placements.
I have loved the art of mixing of ever since I first stepped foot in a recording studio to record songs with my band as a teenager. I loved how the energy of a track could be completely transformed with different approaches to the mix and how even after songs were recorded you could continue to be suprised with new creative ideas as the mix process went on. Pursuing this, I developed my skills at The University of Sussex using their state of the art Studio A to record and mix a range of a bands and ensembles.
